Ukulele group lessons
Mondays
Ukulele group lessons available to book on Mondays after school:
2.00 pm – Junior Infants, Senior Infants
3.00 pm – 1st to 6th class students
*ukulele is required for this class (can be purchased directly from Alto Music)
During the lessons children will:
– Learn basic ukulele chords and strumming patterns
– Play songs together as a group
– Develop rhythm and pitch through musical games
– Build listening and coordination skills
– Gain confidence performing music
Why ukulele?
The ukulele is a perfect first instrument for children. It is small, easy to hold and allows students to start playing real songs very quickly, which keeps learning motivating and enjoyable.
